About The Role
The department is recruiting a Business Development Coordinator to support the growth of conferences, events and other income-generating activity across Estates and Campus Services at Swansea University.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Events team, the role will help manage commercial enquiries, support business development activity and contribute to the development of a strong pipeline of conference and event opportunities.
The postholder will act as a key point of contact for incoming enquiries, ensuring opportunities are logged, qualified and progressed effectively. They will also support client engagement, follow-up activity and the promotion of the University’s conference and event facilities to both internal and external audiences.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
