Scouts Scotland is on the lookout for a passionate sales and customer focussed individual to lead their Business Development and Community Engagement team for their Scout Adventures outdoor activity centres.

Job title: Business Development and Community Engagement Manager

Contract: Full-time (35 hours per week). Occasional flexible and weekend working is a requirement of this role.

Location: Scouts Scotland HQ, Dunfermline, Fife – with the flexibility to work using a hybrid approach by agreement with your line manager

Closing date: 22 June, 2026

Salary: £34,000 to £38,000

As Business Development and Community Engagement Manager you will mentor, influence, and lead the team of customer services officers to deliver an exceptional customer experience, as well as the development and delivery of Scouts Scotland’s marketing and retention strategy to achieve our sales targets.

Please be aware this role will involve going out to meet with Scouts, school and other customer groups, this will sometimes require you to travel as well as work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
