Job Vacancy Due to growing demand, Nottinghamshire Sign Language Interpreting Service (NSLIS) is looking to recruit: Full Time/Part Time British Sign Language/English Interpreter(s) FTE Salary: £26,802.88 to £35,446.08pa Nottinghamshire Deaf Society is a vibrant organisation, providing a range of empowering services to D/deaf people. One of these services, NSLIS, is an interpreter-led specialist agency, based within the NDS community building. We are expanding our in-house interpreting team to meet a range of contracts, including on-line across Nottingham and the East Midlands. Are you a registered Interpreter with the NRCPD, and keen to be part of an organisation that is developing and providing high quality services? Would you like the opportunity to join an established team of experienced community interpreters? If the answer is ‘yes’, then this is the job for you. You should have experience of interpreting across a range of interpreting domains, good inter- personal skills, and an enthusiasm and commitment to providing services that empower Deaf people. Knowledge of Deaf issues and the Deaf Community are essential to this post.
