AGE UK YORK Domiciliary Care Worker JOB DESCRIPTION Location Working in client’s homes across the local York area Reports to Domiciliary Care Service Manager Hours Up to 35 hours Working pattern Flexible shift patterns mornings 7.00am-1.30pm and evenings 3.30pm-10pm, including alternate weekends to be worked across 7 days on a rotational basis. Permanent contracts available. Purpose of the role: The Bridge the Gap Care Service is a domiciliary care service providing personal care to people living in their own homes. Services are provided to adults with a wide range of health and social care needs, including physical disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. Care Workers provide high-quality personal care and support to people living in their own homes; carrying out a range of additional duties to ensure the care provided is person-centred. Care workers provide a flexible and adaptive service which responds to the needs and wishes of clients, enabling positive outcomes. We are an organisation committed to staff development.
