Step By Step School is a small independent day school for autistic children and young people. We provide specialised teaching for Primary, Secondary and Sixth form pupils, aged 4-19. The defining aspect of our school is individualised teaching for each pupil based on behaviour analytic practices

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Behaviour Lead to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled behaviour professional to lead and develop behaviour analytic practice across the school, supporting pupils with complex SEND needs to achieve positive outcomes.

As Behaviour Lead, you will provide strategic leadership for behaviour support, inclusion and wellbeing, ensuring that all pupils are supported through evidence-based, person-centred approaches. Working closely with staff, families and external professionals, you will promote a culture where behaviour is understood as communication and where every pupil can thrive.

As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, you will contribute to whole-school improvement and play a key role in shaping and maintaining our positive, nurturing and inclusive school culture.

Please note: we are unable to accept CVs.  Please complete the application form and return it to Olivia Kurzeja (Headteacher), okurzeja@stepbystepschool.org.uk.

Step by Step School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are expected to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and comply with all safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
