Head Housekeeper

Location: St Ives House, Horton Road, Ashley Heath, BH24 2EE

Pay rate: £12.35 - £12.75 per hour.

Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week (to include alternate weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join the team at St Ives House - our beautiful residential care home in Ashley Heath. This home is set in stunning scenery near to the New Forest and market town of Ringwood

What you will be doing:

• Leading a small, dedicated team of Housekeepers - providing direction and support
• Ensuring that cleaning, laundry and domestic equipment is maintained - and in line with health & safety guidelines
• All minor faults & repairs to equipment are reported promptly
• Ensuring that show rooms for viewing are presented to a high standard
• Preparing schedules which identify and allocate responsibility for daily, weekly & monthly cleaning tasks
• Ordering stock of cleaning products & PPE including ensuring all First Aid boxes are appropriately stocked and sited in accessible areas
• Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for all our residents
• Responsible for our laundry area of the home
• Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas, office space and residents own rooms/bathrooms

Who are we looking for:

Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.

Happy to LEAD THE TEAM and also join in as part of a larger Housekeeping team.
