Events Coordinator Teach First is a charity that believes education is the most powerful tool to help a child fulfil their potential. We find and train teachers to work in the schools that need them most, we equip school leaders with evidence-led training, we support local teacher training providers, and we plug education leaders into supportive professional networks. The role The rundown: The Events Team is responsible for the large-scale delivery of all Teach First’s Events. We deliver high-quality events to support the recruitment and delivery of our programmes, helping us to support our fundraising targets, and support our Networks and staff training events. The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the high quality and consistent delivery of all events aligned to Teach First. This ranges from small online seminars to large in person conferences and events. This could on occasion include evening and weekend work. The detail: day-to-day work • • Preparing and couriering events materials including printing, signage, branding and merchandising. Supporting the logistical delivery of online and in person events through the use of Salesforce and Zoom • • • • • Keeping on track of programme member data requirements for e.g. registers and reasonable adjustments. Ensuring data in our CRM system is accurate Managing the timely delivery of communications with attendees and external contacts, including e- bulletins and online portal content Project planning alongside other colleagues in the events team to ensure timely and high quality delivery of events. Contributing to team goals to continuously improve the delivery of our events. You’ll take ownership for: • • • • Serving as lead for event data collection, manage- ment, and contractual tracking requirements Providing events preparation and on the day event support for online and in person events. Creating and sending of communications for events. You have high level of written and verbal commu- nication skills You have the ability to offer continuous high level of service to a range of individuals, often working to tight deadlines You have the ability to analyse post event evaluation data and propose or implement suggestions for improvement i.e. reasonable adjustments at our venues • You can problem solve and work independently.
