We are looking for an animal care assistant to help within our existing team of animal technicians.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our us at the Biological Services Unit in the Royal Veterinary College at our Hawkshead campus. You will be involved with the husbandry and associated care of a range of animals, e.g. farm animals, poultry, dogs and horses, as required in our research department.
The ideal candidate should have experience in carrying out routine animal husbandry and care in some species, preferably large animals but training will be provided. They should also want to enjoy taking care of an outside environment and its upkeep.
You must have a good level of housekeeping and record keeping skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in starting in an animal technology career and who is interested in the advancement of veterinary and medical science.
