    Kitchen Porter (Catering Assistant)to join our friendly and dedicated catering team atThe McIndoe Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs and support the delivery of high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors.What you’ll do:
    • Assist chefs and catering staff with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and vegetables.
    • Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen environment, following “clean as you go” practices.
    • Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cookware to the highest standards.
    • Support meal service and beverage points, ensuring smooth front and back-of-house operations.
    • Manage stock rotation, put away deliveries, and complete associated records.
    • Ensure waste disposal processes are followed and bins are cleaned daily.
    • Communicate allergen information accurately and complete food safety documentation.

    • Level 2 Food Safety(training can be provided).
    • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
