Marketing and Communications Officer (21.5 Hours)
We’re looking for a creative and innovative Marketing and Communications Officer to help us share the stories of Sheffield Children’s, raise awareness of our work, and inspire people to get involved. This role is for 21.5 hours per week.

Overall purpose of the role:
• To plan and implement creative marketing and media campaigns, for internal and external communications, which underpin the strategy of the Charity.
• To project manage innovative marketing and media campaigns with the Fundraising workgroup members.
• To execute strategic plans to drive positive media coverage locally, regionally and nationally.
• To manage media enquiries, write articles, press releases, and prepare briefing notes to support media activity.
• To lead on and develop digital initiatives including animation, films, graphics, online advertising, and emails, driving traffic to the website and generating income.
• To coordinate PR opportunities at the Charity and third-party events.
• Source, manage and deliver case study stories with sensitivity.
• Generate and create multi-media and execute online for specific initiatives.
• Deliver the Marketing Plan with the Marketing Team.
Title of post: Marketing and Communications Officer
Location: Hybrid working available. At home and at Charity HQ: Charity Office, S10 1DB or any office where the charity operates.
Salary: £27,197 – £32,344 (pro rata), dependent on experience
Hours: 21.5 hours per week
Date: September 2025
Contract: Fixed term (until 07/07/2026)
