Senior Programme Consultant – Child Opportunity Fund , Gurgaon (India)

An opportunity has arisen for a senior consultant to contribute to the British Asian Trust’s success through a leadership advisory role for programmes within the Child Opportunity Fund . The Child Opportunity Fund (COF) is our flagship 10-year, $50 million initiative to strengthen child protection systems and reduce risks such as child labour, trafficking and exploitation by building community resilience and driving systemic reform. In the last year, the Fund operated across four states, reached over 155,000 vulnerable households and prevented more than 3,500 cases of child labour and 110 child marriages. Community protection was strengthened through 492 Child Protection Committees,

341 parent collectives and 304 School Management Committees. Additionally, 25,411 children were enrolled in school and 70,918 households were connected to social protection and livelihood opportunities, reinforcing family resilience and child safety.

Role overview:

The Senior Programmes Consultant will be responsible for providing strategic advisory services to ensure coordinated and effective delivery of the British Asian Trust’s Child Opportunity Fund (COF) program across 9 priority states in India.

  • Strategic Management and Outcome delivery
  • Monitoring and Financial oversight
  • Strategic Engagement, Program expansion and Risk Mitigation
  • Operational efficiency and Team Development
