We are looking for a qualified Clinical Supervisor & Child Wellbeing Practitioner to provide clinical supervision to our team of CWPs. The successful candidate will also have a small caseload that could include short-term guided self-help 1:1 interventions, co-facilitating groups and Single Session Thinking (SST) contacts. We are committed to the ‘Single Sessions Thinking’ (SST) approach which has proved to be very successful (SST training will be provided).

This is a great opportunity for a qualified CWP to work as part of a team, and to make a valuable and lasting difference to the lives of children and young people aged 5-13. YOUnited provides a single point of access for all referrals for Children and Young People (CYP) in need of support with their mental health across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Ormiston Families work with CYP aged 5-13 with mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified CWP, with a supervisory qualification and experience of providing clinical supervision
  • Be registered with the BACP/ BABCP or working towards registration
  • Have a sound knowledge of GSH interventions and experience of delivering low intensity CBT-informed interventions, to CYP aged 5-13 and their Carers.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the mental health presentations in children and young people in this age group

The main office is in March, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidates though will work from home providing therapeutic support on line.
