We are looking for a Youth Clubs Leader to join our team to make a real impact supporting young people with learning disabilities to learn, grow and thrive.

Kids Can Achieve (KCA), part of LDN London, has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality, inclusive services to children and young people with SEND across Harrow for more than 20 years.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and skilled Youth Clubs Leader to lead after-school clubs, Sunday Clubs and Holiday Clubs for young people aged 13–18 with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

This is a highly rewarding role where every session you lead helps young people build independence, develop communication, experience friendships, learn life skills, enjoy creative activities, and prepare for adulthood.

About the Role

As a Youth Clubs Leader, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities such as life skills, music, drama, cooking, creative media, sports, outdoor learning and community outings
  • Lead the staff team during sessions, ensuring safe practice, positive behaviour support and high-quality experiences
  • Support young people to develop independence, communication, confidence and peer relationships
  • Implement support plans, risk assessments and the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework
  • Monitor developmental progress using tools such as Life Star or similar frameworks
  • Model safe, responsive and creative practice
  • Promote safeguarding and be a first response for any concerns
  • Use digital systems for accurate, timely recording
  • Support staff wellbeing by providing guidance, reflective debriefs and positive team culture

You will be supported by the Deputy Manager and Centre Manager, plus an experienced and passionate team.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent understanding in working with young people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs
  • Understands youth development, transitions and SEND practice
  • Can plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive group sessions
  • Leads confidently
  • Communicates clearly and compassionately with young people, families and staff
  • Is reliable, organised and committed to promoting independence and learning
  • Shares KCA’s values of kindness, choice and ambition
  • Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification (childcare, youth work, education or equivalent)
