Centre Administrator (30 hours per week)

Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to make a real difference, especially for dogs in need?
Join our team as a part time Administrator and play a vital role in supporting the Centre Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth, efficient, and successful running of our centre, helping give every dog the best chance of finding their forever home.

What does this role do?

As a Centre Administrator you will:

  • Process invoices, manage weekly banking, record donations, and support budgeting and forecasting with accurate financial data.
  • Coordinate the staff rota, handle annual leave requests, and maintain training records and health and safety assessments.
  • Order and manage stocks of supplies and uniforms, ensuring purchases follow protocol and support the centre’s retail stock management.
  • Liaise with contractors, oversee maintenance records, and support the permit process and work sign-off when management is unavailable.
  • Maintain customer-facing materials and online updates, log and follow up IT issues, support audits, and occasionally assist with reception or dog welfare duties.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Thursday 9th October at our rehoming centre in Ballymena.

Could this be you?

A skilled administrator in a customer facing role, you will have experience of dealing with financial information and contributing to a budgeting process. You will be a good communicator with an understanding of how data can be used to support decisions.

The Rehoming department is responsible for helping as many dogs as possible find their forever homes, whether they are cared for in our network of Rehoming Centres, in a foster home or by their current owner using the Home Stay scheme.
