Join our Content and Resource team and you’ll get to create content that shapes the future of education, whilst nurturing your own personal and professional growth.
We’re looking for passionate content creators, who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking and enjoy creating clear, compelling and consistent communications.
We’re a team of nine dedicated professionals, who work with internal and external stakeholders to create training content and resources for GCSE and A-level teachers. These include subject specific enhanced resources, teacher CPD sessions (face-to-face, live online and e-Learning), conferences and exhibitions.
You will play a key role in creating our resources, enhancing our processes and maintaining resource platforms including Centre Services, ShareFile, and SharePoint. You will do all this whilst adhering to the highest quality standards in spelling, grammar and the AQA tone of voice.
You will benefit from hybrid working with at least two days per week in our newly refurbished offices.

What do you need to be successful?

Full Job Description
Summary
Activities:
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate content development and co-create engaging resources for teacher training events ensuring content aligns with objectives and purpose. Stakeholders being subject matter experts, teaching practitioners, third‑parties, associates, customer training and events, subject support and copyright.
Ensure content is produced with the user in mind and deliver it on-time and within budget, with support from the Content and Resource Producers.
Liaise with relevant internal parties to support the process of commissioning and briefing external subject experts and third parties to develop, review and produce content.
Support on-going continuous improvement to output and process improvement.
Coordinate all requirements to maintain AQA resource platforms (Centre Services, ShareFile and SharePoint etc), working with Content and Resource Producers and internal/external parties as required.
Coordinate the approval process required to review resources produced by approved third-parties to support a quality output and adherence to AQA policies to ensure content is copyright approved and GDPR compliant.
Provide support to the Content and Resource Producers and Lead Content and Resource Producer in scheduling of activity to time, quality and budget.
Utilise PowerPoint, Word and Adobe to format and template training materials, ensuring they are on brand and visually appealing.
Check spelling, punctuation, grammar, and tone of voice to maintain quality standards.
Work with external authors and contributors to gather content and ensure alignment with AQA's standards and objectives.
Take responsibility for your own continuous professional development to meet existing and future business needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to know:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Adobe, with experience in formatting and templating documents.
Strong copyediting skills – the ability to review and refine content.
Good copywriting skills – the ability to produce engaging content.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation to ensure the content meets quality standards.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external subject experts.
Strong communication and able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The ability to work collaboratively to co-create content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organisational skills - the ability to deliver a number of activities to time and budget.
Prioritisation skills – the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, make sound judgements to ensure deadlines are met.
An ability to emphasise and understand the end-user and the context in which the content will be consumed.
A good understanding of a range of channels and platforms to support development of content that is fit for purpose with an emphasis on digital channels.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital content management.
