This role is part-time (approximately 0.6 fte) from January 2026, initially offered for one academic term.  However, there is a strong likelihood the role will be extended for the remainder of the academic year.

Based in the Kent countryside and close to the Cathedral city of Canterbury, Junior King’s is one of the most prestigious prep schools in the country. Within the heart of the school lies a unique, strong and special community. We recognise that every child has different strengths and talents, and we pride ourselves on nurturing and helping each pupil to reach their true potential.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified Prep School teacher from January 2026, to teach Maths, Boys’ Games and History to Year 7 and 8 pupils. Applications  are welcome from experienced, newly qualified and overseas trained teachers who already have the right to work in the UK.  Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
