Hospitality & Facilities Manager in Gambia

You will take responsibility to manage the mission guest house and compound. This ministry supports our missionaries and other foreign guests travelling through Fajara, needing hospitality and using our training facilities.

You would work closely with our local employee who takes care of the day to day running of the house. You would oversee the programme and bookings at the mission house, ensuring maintenance of the buildings and grounds, give advice and support where needed, and initiate renovation work or other developments as appropriate, as budgets allow.

You will be the contact between fellow team members, national workers, and other visitors or guests.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

You are kind and hospitable, with good communication skills. You have good English fluency and basic computer and accounting skills.

You enjoy being flexible coping well with the unexpected. If you can turn your hand to practical maintenance that would be helpful.
