We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and organised individual to join our team and support the delivery of our growing ICAN Get Up & Go Strength & Balance Programme, a falls prevention programme that helps older adults across Northamptonshire improve their strength, balance, confidence and independence, reducing their risk of falls and enabling them to remain active and independent for longer.This role would be ideal for someone looking to take their first step into a rewarding career within the sport, physical activity, health or community sector. We are looking for someone with empathy and understanding of older people, a passion for helping others, and an interest in the benefits of physical activity in later life.

As Assistant Programme Lead, you will support the coordination and delivery of strength and balance classes, assist participants throughout their journey, manage referrals and programme administration, collect monitoring and evaluation data, and help showcase the impact of the programme through stories and reports.
We welcome self-motivated individuals with a curious and learning mindset who are keen to develop their skills, knowledge and experience within the physical activity sector. Full training and support will be provided.
Northamptonshire Sport is a leading physical activity, health and wellbeing charity based in Northamptonshire, delivering national initiatives locally. We collaborate with local and national partners to change the system, influencing strategy, policy and approaches, tackling inequalities and supporting communities to change lives through widening participation in physical activity. We also deliver sport participation events, physical activity programmes and wellbeing projects.
