Essential Qualifications
―Candidates will have maths and English at GCSE grade C / 4 or above, and will be educated to degree level with evidence of outstanding practice working in a similar environment
Essential Qualities / Skills:
―Animating, skinning and rigging in Maya, or Blender
―Familiarity with modelling, Photoshop
―Blender- Drawing and 2D Art skills
―Experience with Photoshop - concept art/textures
―Excellent communication skills in English
―Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
―Industry Workflow/Pipeline awareness/experience
Desirable Qualities / Skills:
―Animation-to-engine pipelines, ideally Unity/Unreal Engine
―Excel/Unity for 3D game production
―3D Modelling and texturing
―Blender or Autodesk Maya for 3D modeling and animation
Key Tasks:
―Plan and deliver exciting lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and interests
―Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding (CPOMS)
―Record attendance and academic notes on Arbor MIS
―Track learner progression on the allocated Google Sheets
―Develop innovative opportunities for interdepartmental and intradepartmental project collaborations
―Use a range of assessment methods and provide outstanding and prompt feedback to inspire learners
―Complete learner one-to-one tutorials and individual learning plans on a bi-termly basis
―Facilitate the wide-range of enrichment trips and guest speaker events arranged across the year
―Work towards a stable learner retention and qualification achievement rate
―Undertake in-house training to remain up-to-date with awarding body expectations
―Support learners to prepare for their assessed end-of-year project
Salary and Days of Work
―24 hours across 4 days a week for 52 weeks per year
―36 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays
―This is a permanent part-time position
―Start Date ASAP
―Pro rata of annual salary £28,000 - £42,000
