Summary:

Circles Network has created a well-being training school, in the heart of Rugby.
The intention is for customers to come along and socialise, receive treatments in Hair
and Beauty from trained practitioners and support the learning and development of
young students.

The salon, known as Flaunt & Flourish, provides the ultimate professional hair care,
from bridal styling, colour and cut to an amazing blow dry or an ‘at venue’ service.

In addition to an array of choices, customers may also join workshops, creative craft
sessions, discussion groups and organised events.

Position:

The stylist will have background training at Level 3 or above and experience in hair
dressing with the ability to train young people in basic hair styling techniques as well
as providing hair and beauty services to paying customers. A high level of
cleanliness within the premises is required and expected. The successful candidate
will be provided with safeguarding and other necessary training. They will also
require a DBS certificate, organised by Circles Network.

Main duties and responsibilities:

•  Perform advanced hairdressing services, including precision cutting,

creative colouring and styling techniques.

•  Provide specialist treatments such as perming and hair-ups.
•  Consult with customers to assess their needs and deliver tailored

solutions.

•  Offer professional advice on hairstyles, colours and suitable products.
•  Build strong, trusting relationships to ensure client satisfaction and

loyalty.

•  Handle client queries and complaints professionally and courteously.
•  Apply advanced techniques and troubleshoot complex hairdressing

challenges.

•  Stay up to date on current trends, tools, and products in the hair and

beauty industry, as well as products and training.

•  Mentor and assist stylists and students, sharing expertise and supporting

their development.

•  Ensure workstations, tools, and equipment meet hygiene and safety

standards.

•  Assist in maintaining stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
•  Contribute to the day to day running of the salon, including scheduling

and client bookings.

•  Participate in ongoing training and workshops to maintain and

enhance skill.

•  Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of salon

practices and services.

•  Show patience and friendliness, enjoy working both independently

and as part of a team.

•  A current enhanced DBS check with Circles Network - the cost of this

will be met by Circles Network.

Qualifications and Training:

NVQ3 or above in hairdressing.

Experience:

To have experience in hair dressing and styling.
To have experience of working with or supporting disabled people including
people with learning difficulties and/or mental health issues, autism and
ADHD.
