About the Role

We’re looking for committed Support Workers to join the team at Tova, a specialist residential home within Ravenswood Village, supporting adults with complex neurodevelopmental needs. You’ll play a key role in delivering person-centred care and helping people live safe, fulfilling, and independent lives.

You’ll join a strong, supportive team, where the work you do really matters.

About Norwood

Founded in 1795, Norwood is the oldest Jewish charity in the UK. We support and empower neurodiverse children and their families and people with neurodevelopmental disabilities to live their best lives.

At Norwood, you’ll make a real difference every day. You’ll be part of a supportive and inclusive team, guided by values of kindness, respect, empowerment and belonging. We invest in your growth, care about your wellbeing, and give you the pride of knowing your work changes lives.

About Tova

Tova is a single-storey home based within the Ravenswood Estate, supporting seven adults aged 20s to 60s with severe learning disabilities, epilepsy, and in some cases, dementia and physical support needs. Most residents use non-verbal communication such as Makaton, objects of reference, facial expressions, and body movements. Building strong, personalised relationships is essential.

People in Tova enjoy active lives with interests like swimming, sensory sessions, music, baking, gardening, drives out, holidays, and more. All require high levels of support including 1:1 and 2:1 assistance with personal care, moving and positioning, and community outings.

Shifts run from 07:00 to 21:00 (typically 07:00–19:00, 08:00–20:00 or 09:00–21:00) with no break, and the rota flexes around the needs, preferences and routines of the people we support, not the other way around. The team works to Norwood’s values of Kindness, Respect, Belonging, and Empowerment

We also welcome people new to care, as long as you're caring, committed, and ready to make a difference.
