As Corporate Fundraiser you will play a pivotal role in driving income growth through the development and delivery of corporate partnerships as part of our overall Fundraising Strategy

Job Title: Corporate Fundraising Executive

Reports to: Head of Fundraising & Communications

Salary: Scale 6, Points 26-28, £26,229 - £27,982 per annum, pro rata

Hours of work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

As our Corporate Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to implement a corporate fundraising strategy in line with overall fundraising targets and organisational goals.
  • Identify, research and approach prospective corporate partners who align with our values and mission.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing corporate partners to secure financial support, sponsorships, gifts-in-kind, and employee fundraising.
  • Create tailored proposals, pitches and presentations that demonstrate the value of working with St Basils.
  • Coordinate volunteering opportunities with corporates, if and where appropriate.
  • Engage with supporters through social media, if and when appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance, providing regular updates and insights to the senior team.
  • Any other duties consistent with the above, and any other relevant duties required as the job develops including working out of office hours when required.
  • Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development.
  • To work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to make sure that all our fundraising activities are GDPR compliant.

QUALIFICATION:

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level or can demonstrate relevant experience

ROLE EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Previous experience of working in fundraising role within the charity or ‘Not for Profit’ sector OR
  • Previous experience of working in a sales or account management role.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing partnerships with businesses or groups, leading to good financial outcomes
  • Experience of delivering on agreed targets and KPI’s
  • Proficiency in using a CRM system (Beacon preferred)
  • Demonstrate confidence in delivering compelling presentations and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

KNOWLEDGE

Essential

  • Good working knowledge of social media and how to use it.
  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends and practices.
  • Understanding of GDPR
  • Understanding of the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Desirable:

  • Sound experience of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of youth homelessness or related social issues.
