Community Action Dacorum

Are you passionate about supporting adult learners to achieve their goals? Do you have experience in planning and delivering engaging courses? If so, we want to hear from you!

Dacorum based charity, Community Action Dacorum is seeking experienced sessional tutors to deliver high-quality learning programmes as part of our community-based adult education provision. We are particularly looking for tutors with experience in:

· Employability Programmes

· ESOL

· English

· Warehousing and Logistics

· Adult Social Care

You will be required to plan, design, and deliver high quality learning, undertake initial assessments of learners and be able to assess and monitor their progress. We are looking for tutors who are passionate about learning and supporting people to improve opportunities and quality of life.

Requirements:

• 1+ year teaching experience

• Background and qualification for teaching ESOL/EAL e.g., TEFL/CELTA/TESOL.

• Current DBS check or be willing to apply for a new one

• Up to date Safeguarding and Prevent Training

• Two professional references

• Working knowledge of Education Inspection Framework

• Ability to travel locally

• Self-employed status
