You’ll play a key role in coordinating the selection, procurement, and delivery of books for our campaigns, book gifting, and traded programmes. Working closely with publishers and internal teams, you’ll ensure we source the best children’s books in a cost-effective and inclusive way.
Key Responsibilities:- Be the first point of contact for publishers on procurement matters.
- Maintain records of negotiations, purchases, and deliveries.
- Organise and administer book selection panel meetings.
- Research and report on diversity and inclusion in book selections.
- Promote knowledge of children’s books across the organisation.
- Attend publishing events and book launches.
- Has strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Is enthusiastic about children’s books and publishing.
- Has excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Can work collaboratively and flexibly within a team.
