We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic admissions administrator to join our fast-paced and welcoming admissions department. This is a particularly exciting time to join King’s as we embark on one of the most significant developments in our history: extending co-education throughout our community.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a high-calibre individual to contribute meaningfully to the life of a busy and successful school, supporting the smooth and effective running of our admissions process across all entry points.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
- An understanding of safeguarding and commitment to the wellbeing of pupils
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting
- Degree or equivalent training
- Familiarity with school information systems (eg. SchoolBase) and admissions software (eg. OpenApply) and AI tools
- An understanding of the independent school sector and admissions cycles
- Proficiency in file sharing and storage
- An understanding of GDPR and best practice in data handling
- Start date: November 2026
- Salary range: £29,000 - £31,000 per annum
- Working hours: 40 hours per week. Normal daily hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm with half an hour for lunch (unpaid). Some flexibility is needed for weekend and evening admissions events (with time off in lieu)
- This is a term time role plus 4 additional weeks
- 25 days of annual paid leave (to be taken during school holidays), plus statutory English public holiday
