Business Unit Administrator Food and Farming
About the role
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £4.00 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Salary range - £28,500 - £35,700
Contract type - Permanent
Hours of work - 39 hours per week to include weekends
Place of work - This role requires the successful candidate to work from the office, based on the Leckford Farm
About the role
As a Business unit administrator you will fully support the delivery of current and future strategy and long term objectives through a more consistent approach to administration across the Estate. You will act as a central administration point of contact for operational teams and external contacts.
Some of your key responsibilities include:

To provide administrative support to the Farming and Processing Business Units primarily through the recording, analysis, reporting and monitoring of operational and financial data associated with the various cropping and livestock enterprises on the estate

Manage supplier purchase order

Accurate data management for auditable trail, maintain files

Administration of finances, capture and relay financial information to the finance role to enable timely and accurate generation of the P & L

Assist the department manager in the administration of KPI reporting
Essential skills you will need
-
Proven experience in a similar role - e.g. office administrator, bookkeeper, finance assistant, farm secretary

Process-driven but keen to understand processes, not just follow them

Numerate, with demonstrable experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets ideally, or MS Excel)

Attention to detail in all aspects of work and a commitment to excellence in all areas.

Self-assured, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.

Progressive mindset, and a collaborative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form.
