Access Arrangement Co-ordinator

Part-time

From September 2026

This is an exceptional opportunity for a new Access Arrangement Co-ordinator to join a flourishing boarding and day school, set on an attractive 100-acre campus and in a beautiful part of rural Surrey.

The successful applicant would be responsible for leading, managing, and administering all aspects of exam access arrangements within the school. The role ensures compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and supports students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), to access examinations fairly and equitably.

We are a collaborative and supportive team, and the post holder will be a key member of the Inclusive Learning Department. Whilst the post holder will take the lead on access arrangements, they will be supported by the wider Inclusive Learning Team. The successful applicant will provide high quality support within the Inclusive Learning Department, ensuring efficient coordination of exam access arrangements.

Hours of work: Part-time, 2 days per week (16 hours, exclusive of breaks) and term-time only.

King Edward’s School is a co-educational boarding and day 11-18 school for some 480 pupils, around 25% of whom are full boarders. We are an HMC school and proud of our unique heritage and place among British co-educational independent schools.

For more details about the role, please review the attached JD or visit our website www.kesw.org or contact the HR Department on HR@KESW.ORG or telephone 01428 686739.  To apply, please complete the Application Form.

Closing date for applications: 12 noon, Wednesday 24th June 2026.  The School reserves the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date, therefore early applications are recommended.

King Edward’s School Witley is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All successful applicants are required to complete an Enhanced disclosure through the DBS.
