We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our friendly and dedicated Student Support Services team. Alongside delivering a high-quality Information and Advice service to potential and existing students you will develop effective partnerships within college to ensure an outstanding student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality, customer focussed service to all users of Northern College.
- Deal with enquiries to the college, in-person, via telephone, email and any digital systems such as webchat.
- Carry out tasks relating to course enrolment and residential check-in including the production of ID badges, taking fees, copying benefit evidence and preparing room keys
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience of working in a student facing support service within an educational setting.
- Experience of dealing with customer enquiries via a variety of methods including telephone, in person and email.
- Experience of providing information and advice to potential and existing students about study opportunities.
- Experience of being able to work flexibly and independently
- GCSE English and maths (Grade C/4) or equivalent level qualification or willingness to achieve
- First Aid and Mental Health First Aid qualification or willingness to achieve
