Salary: £24,657 per annum, pro rata based on 39 hour per week

We are seeking a friendly Support Workers to join our new Supported Living Service in the Sutton area of St. Helens. Where you will be committed to supporting autistic people to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. Our Support Workers focus on encouraging health and well-being and the people we support are at the heart of everything we do!

More about the role

The support we deliver is flexible and unique to each individual, building on their strengths and driven by their goals. Our new development in St. Helens supports 1 person, with an interest in games and dancing. As part of your role you will provide meaningful person centred support which will also include some housework duties which may include cleaning, washing and ironing where required. The person supported at this service is looking for a support worker who shares their hobbies and interests which include;

  • Board games including monopoly, or wordsearches and quizzes
  • Learning new skills including cooking and baking
  • Access community activities e.g. dancing
  • Supporting people in their voluntary work
