Job Description
Beamish is looking for an Electrical Assistant to join our skilled Maintenance Team. This role plays an important part in helping us keep the museum running safely and efficiently.
You’ll work alongside our site electricians, assisting with electrical maintenance and repair work across the museum. Your role will help make sure planned work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with museum requirements. You’ll also support the coordination of onsite electrical work, always following safety procedures, risk assessments, and best practice.
Some of the key daily tasks will include;
Supporting electricians with day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair tasks
Helping to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standard
Assisting with the organisation and coordination of electrical work on site
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Being an active and supportive member of the Maintenance Team
