Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning a variety of College buildings, including student bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, Fellows’ rooms, and communal areas to the highest standards
Making up beds and preparing rooms for guest occupancy
Removing rubbish and recycling to designated collection areas
Reporting any maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, or breaches of College rules
Helping to ensure the security of College buildings by reporting any suspicious activity or hazards
Maintaining a safe working environment in line with College Health and Safety policies
Supporting colleagues and covering duties where needed
Key details:
Location: Worcester College, Walton Street, Oxford
Duration: casual contract with possibility to permanent
Hours: Casual hours – can vary – up to 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rota basis (Monday–Sunday)
Person Specification Summary:
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. If you’re friendly, dependable, and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.
