The Results Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely release of results across all provisions, with a strong focus on quality and compliance. This role involves proofreading assessor feedback, verifying grades, and performing system checks to ensure all results meet internal standards before release. The officer will also support key processes such as ESFA claiming, e-certification, and the review of void referrals submitted by invigilators to determine if exam conditions were met. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the assessment process. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Release results across all provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Proofread End-Point Assessment records, written and submitted by End-Point Assessors, for clarity and professionalism.
  • Perform quality checks on grades and system data before releasing results.
  • Issue DEC exam results following a thorough quality assurance process.
  • Support the ESFA claiming process by ensuring accurate data entry and system compliance.
  • Conduct quality checks on e-certificates before they are issued to learners.
  • Review void referrals submitted by invigilators to determine whether exam conditions were met and escalate where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all checks and releases for audit purposes.
  • Escalate any discrepancies or concerns to the Team Leader promptly.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative duties and ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Support the wider team during peak periods or result release windows.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and quality assurance reviews.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly in proofreading.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using assessment systems.
  • Technically capable, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate internal systems and digital tools.
