Curriculum and EnvironmentTo always maintain a tidy classroom and ensure that the equipment in it, is ingood order.To ensure resources are well-organised, age-appropriate, and supportlearning objectives.Classwork that is displayed in the classroom and corridors must be inaccordance with the Art and Display policy and create a stimulatingenvironment for learning. Professional ResponsibilitiesTo keep up to date with current early years research, legislation, and best practice.To be proactive in the continuation of your own training opportunities andperformance development to improve the outcomes for children and their families. To adhere to school/setting policies, including health and safety, safeguarding, andconfidentiality.To carry out break, lunch and late duties as arranged and to carry out a share ofcover for absent staff and additional duties, where necessary. To attend weekly staff meetings and planning meeting and any other meetingconcerned with the welfare of any member of their class or participate in smallerworking groups when requested. Attend assemblies and school functions, playing a active part in the wider aspects ofschool life. To organise and run an Extra Curricular club. To attend Parent Consultation Evenings and be prepared to communicate withparents individually as and when the need arises. Staff are expected to keep a recordof these communications. Depending on the type of communication, the SeniorManagement Team should be kept informed of such contact. They, in turn, will informthe Head Teacher of any necessary actions to be taken. To adhere to all school policies. Be a part of the school’s appraisal system. Participate with entrance testing days, Open Days, Inset and handover days. The staffwill be notified of these dates. To install high level of personal appearance and behaviour of the children withintheir care. Role model high standards in all aspects of the role and personal conduct includingprofessional dress code. All teachers are expected to carry out any reasonable additional duties asrequested by the Senior Leadership Team.
