Social Media and Content Manager

More details

About the Roundhouse:
Roundhouse is an iconic music and arts venue in Camden. Since the 1960s we’ve opened up space for creativity to empower people and communities – day in, night out. We’re on a mission to raise the creative potential of the UK so we give young people and artists the space to experiment, develop skills and be part of incredible moments that go down in history.

The Role
The Roundhouse is looking for a Social Media and Content Manager to own our voice across digital channels and drive both commercial success and our charitable mission. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of social media activity; strategy development, hands on content creation, copywriting, and leading our community management. The role sits at the heart of our Marketing Team, requiring you to communicate the full breadth of Roundhouse’s offering, from promoting world-class gigs to spotlighting the impact of our ambitious youth development programmes.

Core responsibilities are leading the planning and implementation of both organic and paid social campaigns, managing budgets, and cultivating meaningful partnerships internally and externally, including the Music, Artistic, Events, and Philanthropy teams. The ability to translate social data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders will be essential.

The role reports to the Senior CRM Manager, making it central to driving top-of-funnel awareness and conversion metrics by ensuring social activity seamlessly feeds into our wider customer journey and segmentation strategies. If you’re ready to manage the brand presence for a venue which makes history - Day in, Night Out, we want to hear from you.

Weekend and evening work may be required according to business needs.

About you:
You have proven experience developing and executing organic and paid social media campaigns. You are fluent in all major social platforms (Meta Business Suite, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc) and not just a scheduler, but a hands-on creator who is happy filming, editing, and designing content to high standards (using tools like Canva). You possess outstanding copywriting, community management, and project management skills, enabling you to balance competing deadlines across commercial gigs and youth programmes. You are the collaborative centre, adept at aligning diverse internal teams and external partners

We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own skills, experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same. We encourage those currently underrepresented across the cultural sector and all intersections of our diverse society to apply.

The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
