The Coxford Group and Toftrees seeks an Interim Priest-in-Charge who will become a visible presence across the villages – someone who will cherish our rich variety of worship while exploring new ways to engage with those on the fringes of church life.
If you are a natural connector and find pastoral ministry rewarding then this could be the post for you.
The churches are not only places of worship, they are the heart of these rural communities. From village concerts to open garden events, there is a real love of gathering together, and the parishes look forward to welcoming a Priest who will help build on this spirit of togetherness. The benefice seek someone who will invest in the emerging communities at The Kiptons and The Orchards in the parish of East and West Raynham, helping to forge new relationships.
The primary school in East Rudham is a vibrant hub of young families, and the parishes hope their new Vicar will be excited to connect with the children, parents and staff.
The benefice are aware that there will be challenges – pastoral care, outreach, and managing eight parishes isn’t a small task – but you’ll have the support of dedicated lay leaders and loving congregations ready to walk with you.
Could you be the person to help write this next chapter in Coxford’s story?

- Help the congregations to bear witness in the communities to what being a Christian means in modern society
- Take an active role at the Church of England school in East Rudham
- Recognize the importance of traditional services and festivals of the Church year, and offer variety in liturgy
- Rise to the challenge of rejuvenating the parish of East and West Rudham, and to find ways to spread God’s word in the newly emerging communities at the Kiptons and the Orchards
- Enjoy this calling and share that enthusiasm within the parishes, so that together they may grow closer to God
