Age Concern Hampshire are currently recruiting for a Part-time Cleaner

This is a part time role 6 hours per week to ensure a high standard of cleanliness in communal areas and offices at the Lockswood Care and Wellbeing Centre in Locks Heath.

• To ensure work is carried out in accordance with all safety, Infection Control and COSHH regulations, Organisation Policy and instructions
• Cleaning, vacuuming, polishing and sweeping of all areas, including toilets, shower/bathing areas, the kitchen and offices
• Emptying waste bins into the correct waste collection area.
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Check all electrical equipment such as vacuum cleaners before using and report any equipment which does not meet required health and safety
• Where necessary, undertake replenishment of consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc) as required and assist with cleaning materials stocktake and ordering.
• To undertake regular deep-cleaning of specific areas and equipment as and when required
• To undertake training and continuous personal development to improve own effectiveness
• To commit to the Organisation’s strategic objective and values, and be an ambassador for Age Concern Hampshire in all activities
