We are seeking a dedicated Employability Study Programme Tutor to join our dynamic team in Doncaster, if you have experience in teaching, a knack for engaging learners, and the drive to make a real difference, this role is perfect for you!
As our new Employability Study Programme Tutor, you will be a confident communicator with excellent rapport-building skills. You will be highly organised, demonstrating strong planning and time-management abilities, supported by solid IT proficiency. Most importantly, you will have a passion for education and the motivation to support young learners in their personal and professional development.
To excel in this role, you will need:

A teaching qualification of Level 3 or above

A qualification to a minimum of Level 3 in your vocational specialist subject.

Experience of teaching Maths and English up to Level 2.

The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and resolve conflicts professionally.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- About the Role
As an Employability Study Programme Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical learning experiences to young people in our Doncaster Centre. You will support learners from their initial assessment through to successful course completion, ensuring they gain essential employability skills, accredited qualifications, and develop their confidence.
Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and delivering inspirational learning programmes that engage and motivate young people.

Teaching a variety of qualification levels, from Entry Level to Level 2, including Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths.

Embedding employability and social skills within lessons to prepare learners for the workplace.

Monitoring and tracking learner progress, ensuring each student has individual targets and receives tailored support.

Assisting with the organisation of assessments, coursework, and exams.

Keeping up to date with the latest subject developments and incorporating them into your teaching practices.

Supporting learners with pastoral and tutorial guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Developing links with apprenticeship tutors and external organisations to enhance opportunities for students.
