Are you passionate about supporting people out of homelessness?
We are looking for people who bring a range of skills to the organisation to help us meet our mission.
HARP is Southend-on-Sea’s leading homelessness charity and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.
It is an exciting time to be joining HARP. The organisation has undergone significant change and growth over the past twelve months and we have ambitious plans for the future which will continue to transform lives.
About The Role
Ref: TECO
Applicants for this role must be available for interview on 9th December 2025.
As a charitable registered provider of short-term social housing operating in Southend-on-Sea, we believe everyone should have a home of their own. At times individuals may require support from HARP and other agencies to maintain a tenancy and avoid a return to homelessness.
As our Tenancy Engagement Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role supporting vulnerable residents in maintaining their bedspace by providing practical assistance, advice, and engagement around financial support including rent and service charge payments. This will include visiting services and providing face to face support.
To be considered for this role, you would need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience working with vulnerable people, particularly those affected by homelessness and knowledge of rent and service charge systems and welfare benefits.
