Salesforce Administrator

Love getting stuck into systems and making things better?

At Dogs Trust, we’re looking for a hands-on Salesforce Administrator to support a vast and growing platform of 1,200+ users, keep things running smoothly, and deliver small but impactful improvements every day; with real opportunities to specialise in areas like Marketing, Operations or Finance and grow your career.

What does this role do?

As Salesforce Administrator you will:

  • Handle day-to-day Salesforce incidents, requests and user support via the ITSM tool, fixing issues and making small configuration changes.
  • Maintain and improve Flows and automation, including troubleshooting errors, simplifying complex processes, and testing changes in sandbox.
  • Support data quality and reporting, including basic reports, imports/exports, and identifying repeat data issues.
  • Follow governance, security and release processes to ensure access, changes and data are controlled, auditable and compliant.
  • Proactively suggest improvements, support BAU optimisation, and develop expertise in a specialist area such as Finance, Marketing or Operations.

This a fixed term role until 28th February 2027.

Interviews are provisionally scheduled for this role for the 12th and 19th of January 2026.

Could this be you?

You’ll have solid experience in Salesforce Administration within a multi-team organisation, ideally supported by an Administration certification, with hands-on experience building, debugging and fixing Flows alongside core configuration. You’ll be confident managing profiles, permission sets and SSO-aware access, able to build reports and dashboards when needed, and have a sound understanding of GDPR in a CRM context. You’ll also communicate clearly through ITSM/Jira updates and share a strong commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

A little about us:

You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive IT team that values curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. We work across a variety of exciting initiatives; from developing digital platforms that help dog owners to enhancing volunteer and data systems that expand our impact. Our culture is friendly, flexible, and purpose-driven, with most of your time spent working from home and regular, focused collaboration days in our London office. It’s an environment where people share ideas, learn from each other, and take pride in building technology that truly makes a difference.

About Dogs Trust

We love dogs. That’s why we do whatever we can to make sure every four-legged friend gets the love they deserve. We’ll never put a healthy dog down, so our work is focused on helping dogs in need, supporting owners every step of the walk, and creating a better world for dogs in the future. It’s what we’ve been doing since 1891 and how we’ve grown to become the UK’s leading dog charity, helping 12,000 loyal friends find their forever homes every year.
