Office Management: Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including managing mail, correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and practical support to the Clergy, leadership team and volunteers.
Communication: Handle internal and external communications, supporting the management of the Mission Area website and social media, and assist with newsletters and other publications.
Database Management: Maintain and update databases, registers, and records.
- Proven experience in church administration or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with a high level of interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, database management).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- A commitment to the mission and values of the church.
Hours: 2 x 10 hour posts* or 1 x 20 hour post to be worked over 5 days. Flexible working is available.
Location: This position can be home based but may require occasional travel to the offices, in Buckley and Hawarden, and to attend meetings.
*1 x 10 hour post is to support the Deeside Mission Area and the other 1 x 10 hour post is to support Rhos a Mynydd Mission Area. However, the posts could be combined to create 1 x 20 hour post covering both areas.
