Weldmar is looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team! This position provides full training and a development pathway to becoming a professional chef.
As part of our Facilities team, you will help deliver catering services to the In-Patient Unit (IPU) and The Orangery. You will assist in daily operations, prepare meals, and ensure effective cooking and serving. You will also cover shifts during holidays or absences and support all hotel and catering services.
Working under supervision, you will follow schedules and guidelines, ensuring safe and efficient use of resources. Tasks include preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and using kitchen equipment safely. You will also participate in required training.
Additionally, you will interact with patients admitted to the IPU, providing a compassionate and respectful service as part of their care experience.
