DEBRA is seeking a compassionate and motivated Store Assistant to join our friendly team in Huddersfield!
This is a permanent, part-time role:
✔ 7 hours per week (1 full day, rota provided in advance)
✔ Flexibility is key – you’ will help cover absences and holidays when needed
📍 Location: DEBRA Shop, Huddersfield HD3 3XA
📅 Contract: Permanent
⏰ Hours: 7 hours/week, 1 full day over 7 days (no fixed pattern)
🕒 Shop opening hours: Mon–Sat 9am–5pm, Sun 10am–4pm
💷 Pay: £12.21/hour
💰 Salary: £4,444.44 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering warm, friendly customer service
- Handling transactions with care and accuracy
- Creating attractive shop displays
- Sorting and pricing donated items thoughtfully
- Promoting Gift Aid and encouraging donors to sign up
- Supporting the Shop Manager and working closely with volunteers
- Regularly lifting and moving donated goods

Who We’re Looking For:
- Retail experience in a busy environment
- A team player with great communication skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays
- Physically able to lift and move donated items safely
