This is an exciting opportunity for a mission-focused leader with cross-cultural ministry experience and a strong desire to encourage and facilitate cross-cultural mission in the UK, in partnership with local churches.

They will oversee our mission workers who are based around the UK as they serve cross-culturally to make disciples of Jesus. This includes enabling effective placements for mission workers with churches and the development of cross-cultural ministry opportunities in line with Serving In Mission’s purpose, mission and vision. It also includes direct responsibility for UK mission workers’ orientation, care and development together with their placement church.

The ideal candidate will have considerable cross-cultural mission and team leadership experience, alongside excellent people management skills.

This role can be done remotely from anywhere in the UK, with a willingness to travel to visit our UK-based mission workers. There is also an option to be based in the Cambridge office on a hybrid basis if the post holder lives locally.

This role is a voluntary position and would require the successful applicant to raise their own personal support.
