PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Piece Hall are looking to recruit a number of Casual Hospitality Assistants to cover shifts (including weekends) across the Christmas period in The Deli and Astronomer Diner.

As a Casual Hospitality Assistant, you will report into the Food & Beverage Manager and other Senior members of the team.

The position will include covering a variety of stations across both The Deli and Astronomer Diner in The Piece Hall. You will be cross-trained across taking orders on the till, the barista station, the ‘cheffing’ station, the pot wash station, and serving customers.

The ideal candidate will have some flexibility regarding hours available to work and would be willing to work at least one weekend day.

We are looking for somebody who has previous experience in a similar environment, the ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment, the ability to work off your own initiative, and can provide excellent customer service.

Please note that this position is a casual contract for the Christmas period only.

This position is subject to a basic DBS check and satisfactory references.
