Temporary Catering Assistant
16 hours per week Monday to Thursday
£ 12.65 per hour
Here at The Bistro, we put our passion into the food and service we provide. We require one new member to join our team on a 16 hour temporary basis that love to serve our customers quality food, drinks, and provide an overall excellent service. The successful candidate will be cooking, preparing, and serving food in a safe and timely manner. They will be taking payments, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, baking, creating, and helping to run the best Bistro we can offer our guests. If you love to cook, clean, create and are driven by passion we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will
- Hold a current food hygiene certificate
- Have previous experience in the catering industry, preferably in both cooking and customer service
- Can work as part of a team and alone
- Have a willingness to learn
- Be able to use their own initiative
- Be a team player, sharing, brainstorming ideas to help the Bistro be the best it can be
- Have a flexible approach to working hours including weekends
- Be passionate about food and coffee/drinks
- Provide an excellent customer service
- Maintain a professional persona
- Maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene of the Kitchen and Bistro
- Report low stock, safety issues, faults to the Catering Manager
