Lymington Rushmore Part-time Comms & Events Co-ordinator

Role Purpose: To develop the schools based, camps focussed ministry among young people,
through the prayerful and effective administration of events and holidays and the effective
recruitment and deployment of a large team of volunteers

Salary: £26-30k (pro rata) depending on experience

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 2.5-3 days/week

Reports to: Lymington Rushmore Team Leader

About us

Lymington Rushmore is part of the Titus Trust which works to encourage & equip pupils,
historically from independent schools, but now more broadly, for wholehearted service of
Christ through the prayerful proclamation of the gospel.

The LR staff seek to carry out this work in partnership with parents, teachers, pupils and local churches
across  the  south  of  England  through  supporting  and  resourcing  ministry  in  schools  and  through
running  activity  holidays,  revision  weeks  and  other  events  during  the  school  holidays.    This  role  is
about facilitating these ministries through the efficient running of the Oxford office.

About you

We are looking for a prayerful, humble, faithful, and servant hearted individual with a love for the
Lord Jesus and proven administrative ability. You will need to take initiative in developing areas you
are given responsibility for and, ideally, be available to spend up to 4 weeks a year away from home
on residential events.

While experience of our camps may be helpful, we would also welcome applications from those who
haven’t been involved in the Titus Trust before, and value the new insights, perspectives and
opportunities that could bring.

Key Responsibilities

●  To pray for the work of LR and those involved in it
●  To share in the safer recruitment of volunteers
●  To organise events with a particular focus on our junior holidays (ages 11–13)
●  To process bookings, communicate with schools, teachers, parents and volunteers
●  To coordinate regular newsletters and other comms with stakeholders

●  To deal with correspondence efficiently
●  To oversee publicity for our holidays

●  To co-ordinate student reunions and prayer meetings
●  To share in the administrative tasks of the team/wider Trust as required
●  To maintain our database
●  Attendance at some LR events/holidays

●  Proven administrative ability
●  Experience of youth ministry if seeking a F/T role
