About
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Roller Skating Coach to join our team. As a Roller Skating Coach, you will be responsible for instructing and guiding individuals of various ages and skill levels in the art of roller skating. Your primary focus will be on providing personalized coaching sessions, group lessons, and organizing skating programs to promote skill development and enjoyment for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide roller skating instruction to individuals and groups, catering to different age ranges and skill levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and training programs that align with the goals and abilities of the participants.
- Teach proper roller skating techniques, including balance, posture, stride, and various maneuvers.
- Evaluate and assess participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Plan and organize roller skating events, workshops, and demonstrations to enhance the skating experience and promote community engagement.
- Stay updated on current roller skating trends, techniques, and safety practices to continuously enhance coaching abilities.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and guardians, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
- Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate schedules, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the roller skating program.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a roller skating coach or instructor is highly preferred.
- Strong roller skating skills and knowledge of various skating techniques and maneuvers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with participants of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to adapt coaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
- Enthusiasm for roller skating and a genuine passion for teaching and motivating others.
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate coaching sessions and events.
- Patience, positivity, and the ability to create a supportive and encouraging environment for participants.
- Organizational skills to plan and execute skating programs and events successfully.
- Ability to prioritize safety and enforce proper safety procedures during coaching sessions and events.
