  • This Fitness Training AcademyTutor role is ideal for someone with experience working with young people, who is eager to share their knowledge and expertise to help students achieve their goals.

    You should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team, with a strong sense of purpose and a passion for teaching and training. Initiative, the ability to work to deadlines, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education are essential.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Planning and delivering dynamic and innovative teaching, learning, and assessment sessions to ensure the highest academic standards.

    • Incorporating the latest developments in the sector and integrating technology effectively into your teaching.

    • Providing pastoral and tutorial support to learners, helping them stay on track and reach their full potential.

    • Supporting learners in achieving accredited qualifications, including English and maths up to GCSE level.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Teaching qualification – PGCE/Certificate in Education or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.

    • Industry qualification – Minimum Level 3 qualification in Fitness and/or Personal Training.

    • A passion for education and helping young people succeed.

    • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • We have a vacancy for a full-time Fitness Training Academy Tutor to join our team.

    The role involves delivering and assessing the YMCA Awards Level 2 and Level 3 Technical Occupational Entry Diplomas in Exercise and Fitness based in Leeds.

    The successful candidate will join our team of professionals delivering inspirational programmes of learning that engage and motivate young people to progress and achieve.

    You will be responsible for managing and delivering diverse learning opportunities for groups of learners from initial interview and assessment through to successful completion of course and accreditation.

    Our Study Programme Tutors deliver learning opportunities that are practical in nature, develop employability and social skills and enable learners to achieve accredited qualifications as well as qualifications in English and maths up to GCSE level. We achieve this by providing our learners with learning opportunities that aspire to outstanding and adhere to those standards within the common inspection framework.
