💖 Make a Difference Every Day
Do you love seeing people flourish and living their best lives?
Then this could be the perfect role for you!
At School Close, we support 12 individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live independently in their own self-contained flats. This is a supported living service, which means we’re all about empowering people to make their own choices, plan their days, and enjoy life to the fullest.
🧩 Every Day is Different
The people we support have unique personalities, interests, and goals. As a Support Worker, you’ll help them:
- 🛍️ Get out into the community
- 🎨 Enjoy hobbies and activities
- 💊 Manage medication
- 🚿 With personal care (where needed)
- 🗣️ Make decisions and live independently
We believe in “doing with” not “doing for” – it’s all about enabling, not taking over.
🕒 Shifts to Fit Your Life
We provide support 24/7, and we’re currently looking for people who can work waking nights on different days throughout the week, including some weekends. Shifts are from 8.30pm - 8am. This is a temporary role, initially for 3 months, but this may be extended or made permanent by mutual agreement.
