Director of Enrollment- Job Description

Location: São Paulo, Brazil - Type: On site, Full Time
The role
As Director of Enrollment you will be required to oversee the recruitment activities of an enrollment team. Striving to grow and develop the enrollment numbers to our BBA program across Brazil and the Southern-Cone. You will be required to coach and mentor the team, provide benchmarks and goals and to ensure processes are followed effectively to provide an exceptional student experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Team Management and Development:
• Work collaboratively will all team members, understanding their skills and abilities and adapting approaches effectively.
• Ensure team members are engaged, motivated and working efficiently towards the given target.
• Coach and mentor teams on their consultative approach to promoting our program, value proposition and USP’s.
• Effectively managing performance, providing regular reviews and 1-1’s to ensure an open and honest environment.
• Confidently identifying team members strength and development areas and provide a framework for support.
Funnel Management and Analytics:
• Have a strong analytical understanding of the student pipeline. Identifying bottlenecks and areas of opportunity.
• Use Salesforce to organize and prioritise student funnels for team members. Detailing key areas of focus and daily lists to work with.
• Prepare and present weekly performance reports using Tableau and Salesforce. Identify plans/ structures for the weeks ahead.
Strategic Planning:
• Along with the Regional Director, develop the annual and quarterly strategic plans for the region.
• Use analytics and data to project and plan for peaks and troughs of the cycle and organize resources accordingly.
• Gather actionable insights on higher education trends, economic shifts, and financial variables
influencing enrollment; formulate strategies to counteract potential challenges.
Budget and Planning Management:
• Manage scholarship and travel budgets meticulously to maximize resource allocation.
• Manage team member requests, including vacations, expenses, and other operational matters.
• Plan and propose activities for spend allocation to help with Business Development and growth.
Cross Team Collaboration & Support:
• Effectively collaborate with peers in region and across the globe within
Enrollment and across support functions (Admissions, Marketing, Visas and Finance).
• Lead in effective feedback delivery to cross departmental teams to ensure an overall excellent student experience.
• Work closely with the Regional Director to guide the development of the region.
Qualifications and Skills required:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• English proficiency.
• Portuguese proficiency.
• Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passionate about people and supporting their development.
• Passionate about working in a multicultural environment.
• Proven track record in Business Development or related roles.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
